Shandi was an outstanding example of the breed.  She stormed into the show ring and as a minor puppy just 6 months old at the Cardigan Association Championship Show  1982 judged by Pat Santi (USA) who awarded her Challenge Bitch, Runner Up Best of Breed, and Minor in Show (pictured above).  She continued to accumulate many In Group and In Show awards at all breeds level as well as Specialty Championship shows.  She produced Champions.
