Geordie accumulated an extraordinary number of spectacular wins during his show career and was acclaimed as the dog of the decade.  He was Cardigan of the Year 1979, 1980, and 1981 for the CWCA of NSW and 1978, 1979, and 1980 for the WCC of NSW.  He was Challenge dog at the Sydney Royal, Brisbane Royal, Melbourne Royal, and Adelaide Royal.  At the WCC of NSW he was R/Up to Best Exhibit in Show judge M Banks (UK).  Best Exhibit in Show at the CWCA Ch Show 1982 under Pat Santi (USA).  He won a R/Up to Best in Show all breeds.  Most importantly he was the sire of many Champions.
